From 3D digital mammography to 256 Slice CT scanning, a wide variety of cutting-edge radiology services are offered at AMI Egg Harbor Township – Black Horse Pike. The 256 Slice GE Revolution CT Scanner can scan whole body images within seconds and uses the lowest possible radiation dose while acquiring superior images for an accurate diagnosis.

We have also equipped our facility with a High-Field Anti-Claustrophobic MRI. This MRI does not require patients to be completely immersed in the confining tube seen in standard MRIs, making it the preferred choice for patients who have difficulty in small spaces.

The entire staff are always pleasant, professional, helpful & accommodating. All staff seem to work well as a team making the patient experience very comforting. My experience having an MRI at AMI could not have been more pleasant. I had a 10pm appointment however late that afternoon I was notified of an opening at 6pm so I took the opportunity to have it done much earlier. The receptionists were courteous and professional as well as the technicians. The wait time was minimal. I was in and out in no time at all. They provided me with the test results as I was leaving. Could not ask for more of the staff. Thank you.

I wrote the review below some time ago, maybe a year + ago, I still feel the same way. But this time I have some serious issues my Dr. is investigating and I was very emotional about it. The staff that did my CTA were so kind and caring and one even shared her personal story which made me feel so comfortable. There is something to be said for bed side manner and expertise! Thank you to all who assisted me. AMI is great! The staff at EHT office were friendly and nice, I’m sure helpful as well but I completed my paperwork online. From the time I left my house to the time I returned it was less than an hour. I’d say that’s pretty darned good. The facility was very clean too. If you need X-rays, MRIs, CT scans etc, AMI in EHT is the place you should go.

From the attending personal at the front desk, "Toni" was a delight to talk to. She had all my papers in order in the blink of an eye. The x-ray tech young lady (I am sorry I did not ask your name) was very comforting and explained every detail, this made me feel safe. The MRI tech "Sarah" was a wonderful young lady that made my visit, calming and explained each and every step of my procedure. From the moment I walked in everyone was extremely friendly and courteous. There was virtually no wait time. Added bonuses.. I thought I made a reservation online but must not have clicked confirm. The MRI techs are the Best. Jackie and Joanna were excellent! They were so caring and compassionate towards me. I was feeling a little anxious because my prior exam was difficult but the ladies made sure I was well taken care of. They lessened my anxiety tremendously and kept giving me encouraging words to help me get through. It was a breast MRI and can be difficult to tolerate. The test ended up going smoothly and I was able to tolerate the test with very little discomfort. I also want to thank the nurse Maureen who started my IV as well. She was also very caring and empathetic towards me when I was feeling anxious about the exam. These ladies deserve a raise! Thanks again ladies for your kindness. Dee R.

It was so nice I heard so many bad war stories about how terrible it was. My visit was so nice and comfortable I almost fell asleep. I had 2 pillows for my head and pillows under my knees and cushions on side so my arms didn't rub. And they gave me a blanket. It was so cold in there and nice ear plugs. The front desk intake person was friendly and greeted me with a smile. Katie listened to my concerns about being claustrophobic. She adjusted the machine several times to make the experience more comfortable for me even tho it clearly took her more time. * I did have to call two times to confirm the fasting part of my treatment. I’m glad I did, the first operator gave me instructions for a coronary die test that was mush more invasive then the 15 minute CT calcium scan that was performed. I had my yearly mammogram this morning at AMI in EHT. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. I was early for my appointment waiting only about 10 minutes. Melissa came out greeted me and took me in the back for my mammogram. I explained that I had implants since last year’s mammogram. She was so gentle & explained everything she was doing. My fear for MRIs has grown over the years. The staff was very considerate in their knowledge of this and their efforts to get me through it in the best fashion. I can’t say that my fear has been alleviated, but I can say that if I ever need another one that crew is the one I want. If and when anyone anyone I know needs a similar MRI, I would feel comfortable in advising them To have it done at your facility. Thank you.

Wonderful, caring staff (Cheri) at EHT. She went out of her way to get me in for a CT scan so I didn't have to travel to Manahawkin. When I had my scan, the techs were fantastic and super efficient so I was in and out in 20 minutes. I had my results 1.5 hours later. Great experience all around!!

This is the absolute fastest I have ever been in and out of any appointment in my entire life! I am entirely serious about this statement. I had an appointment at 5:15. Checked in at 5:00. Filled out two sheets of questions and was called in immediately for a Low Dose CT. Was done at 5:18. Start to finish was 18 minutes which is totally unheard of. Kudos to AMI EHT!!

Merry gave me my mammogram. Due to previous breast cancer I have a scar which makes a mammogram painful. Merry performed my mammogram in a quiick ,manner that was amazing! My last previous mammogram I left in tears from pain and this time I left with a smile on my face ! Merry asked throughout of the mammogram if I was doing ok. That’s how caring she was. Cathleen is a real people person. She listened to me and responded when I told her I left my hearing aids at home, for the tests (metal wires in hearing aids). I had several bad experiences in the past with panic attacks while in the machine. I explained this to the tech and she was wonderful. She explained everything before the MRI. She communicated with me the entire time I was inside the machine, telling me the minutes and when it would move. I feared going for this MRI for weeks before the date. I don’t think I will ever have that fear again…thanks to the techs at AMI.

In fact, he noticed I had a tough time with the MRI and suggested that I ask for an open MRI if I needed to have another one done. I really appreciated that! This is a 1st rate imaging experience. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by a receptionist who verified my ID and within a minute I was met by another pleasant tech who helped me towards the changing area and then onto the MRI machine where that tech was also so pleasant, I didn't mind the time it took to finish the procedure on my hip. I never go anywhere else when it comes to medical care to reach my physician in very short time. Love this facility.

This entire facility is really well done. It just works effortlessly. Capable, confidence, compassion ((yes)). I do notice a chance to rate my staff members. In case a window, such as this, does not pop up; I have really good words to share about Kathy & Romona. Might I just draw attention in this location: Upon just entering the door, Ramona made direct eye contact & greeted in a professional AND Friendly manner. Such an easy person to like. I had arrived *very* early. I was just planning on relaxing in the cool comfort of the Women's Wing. <- seriously; with my phone to amuse me. A peaceful day off. I was entered in and took my seat right by the door. In just minutes i was called! You did very well employing Ramoma.Then I got to meet Kathy, she did both of my tests. I had a cardiac CT. The front desk personnel were quick, courteous and efficient. The RN was very nice and skilled. She explained everything that would happen during the test. Instructions during the test were clear and concise. The CT was pretty quick and I received notification of the results within 2 hours of leaving the facility. I would recommend AMI to everyone! The VA has sent me to a few community providers that treated me very poorly but NOT AMI. I have been there for mammograms and most recently to address an injury incurred during my service. They are welcoming, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable to what they are doing. There was minimal wait time, minimal paperwork to complete. The procedure was much simpler than the last time I had the same procedure 6 years ago. Scheduling was a bit different in that online it was labeled "Consultation" not CTA. I had met Cheri in the past at another AMI location, very pleasant and positive. Joanna was professional and to the point. Joseph introduced himself as 'Joe" which was open and relaxed. I appreciated how skilled he was with placing the IV and his clear instructions. Thank you all for a stress free experience.The only (minor) con was the Jacket-like gown I was given with HUGE arm holes therefor not covering what needs to be covered (wink) ugh, could be better fitting for modesty sake.

i was very nervous about my mri bc i had open heart surgery 8 mos ago and i was scared about the titanium wires holding my sternum together being somehow reactive to the magnetic imaging. i know the info tells you otherwise but i was just plain scared. joanna made me feel very comfortable and cared for!

I have been to a lot of work spaces. I really enjoyed my experience at Atlantic Medical Imaging. The person who help me navigate through the system to get me processed was outstanding. And the technician that took my x-rays was warm, kind, and considerate of my condition, and she made me feel like I was at home. I came in suffering with back pain. I had to go back to the car to get my paperwork. I just made it to the door. I have a cane, staff helped me in and back to the MRI. Then I couldn't get up from MRI table. The staff helped me out and assisted me back to my car. Outstanding

I get very frightened in closed kn spaces But your mri staff made me feel so at ease and comfortable that I had no issues. They were also kind and explained the whole process. Every aspect was an example of excellent customer service. The receptionist Toni was not only efficient, she was way cheerier at 6:30 AM than would be expected, and it was her positivity and warmth, as well as her efficiency in her job, that started this out as a very nice experience. The tech who took care of me from start to finish was equally pleasant and friendly and efficient. I had a 7 AM MRI appointment, and the test was completed and I was back in the changing room getting dressed at precisely 7:00 AM. I was so happy that I was done and getting dressed by the START TIME of my appointment. Excellence all around!

Excellent service from start to finish. Very thorough with questions and answers. I was unsure of an implant in my eye and they took the time to call my eye Dr and resolve the issue so they could take the best care possible. Excellent facility, clean, and welcoming. Staff is very pleasant and friendly, and accommodating. My doctor wanted me to get an x-ray. I walked in and the person, at the desk, asked if I had an appointment, which I said no. My doctor informed me you take walk-ins for x-rays, to which she said, "yes we do". She had me fill out a couple of forms. After I returned the forms to her, I sat in the waiting area and in less than 5 mins my name was called to go back for the x-ray. The technician, Eric, is very professional, pleasant, and friendly. He introduced himself and he would be the one taking the x-rays. Asked if I had any questions. Very thorough taking the x-rays. He informed me when my doctor would have the results and even opened the door for me as we were leaving the x-ray room. I would definitely recommend AMI in EHT.

My foot doctor sent me to the wrong address. It was corrected by Ami and I was taken to the correct address. They were very patient and kind. They helped me out of a bad situation. When I was taken to the correct address the people there were expecting me and treated me well too. They set the wheels in motion for me to go home. Today’s 4:30 pm appointment was on time, the fifteen minutes before the MRI took just 12 minutes, all employees were gentle and informative, in addition to be friendly. The facilities were perfectly clean, including the restroom, the reception area and the parking lot. Friendly and fast! I love the EHT AMI. In the past years I have been to other area AMI’s and never been treated as nice. I’ve been at other ones that the staff preforming the procedure talk to their coworkers the whole time and make me feel like I’m intruding. Sometimes you’re treated like they are rushing you through your appointment. Not at EHT! They actually explained what they were doing with every step. Made me feel included and relax. Even with a student in the room I wasn’t ignored.

Once you break through that never ending hold to make the appointment, you will find a wonderful, caring and compassionate staff. There was a question about my dads procedure and John and Anna Marie took the time and care to make sure he was getting what he needed. It actually required leaving and coming back another day but the amount of dedication was deeply appreciated. The check in staff was also very sweet and accommodating to my elderly dad. Iam very happy I came to this office. They are very nice, polite, and its very clean in both waiting rooms, the bathroom, and the exam room. I am very claustrophobic, though my primary dr. Gave me a prescription for valium. I took one one hour prior to my appointment for an MRI. They gave me ear plugs. I layed down on the table ready to go in. I didn't even need the medicine, I was perfectly fine. I had my eyes open, and I was calm. This open MRI table is very spacious, I'm a thick girl and I fit comfortably inside. I definitely recommend someone that is claustrophobic to come to this office. It Was fast and easy.. thank you for keeping me comfortable. I will be coming back again.

Please give this woman an award for best customer service. She truly set the tone for my AMI visit. The staff at the EHT location were excellent. I am the mother of a three week old and accidentally went to the wrong location. Staff were able to accommodate my son for his ultrasound last minute at the EHT location so that I did not need to get back on the road and travel to the other location. The staff were also very accommodating with helping me to find a discrete area so that I could nurse my son prior to leaving. Everyone was very friendly. I cannot say enough good things about my experience.

Went in for an MRI at the EHT location. Everyone I encountered, from the ladies at the front desk to my MRI techs, were all so sweet. I was nervous, as this was my first MRI and with my anxiety, I wasn't sure how I was going to handle being in the machine (even though it is an open MRI machine). But my techs made my experience way more comfortable by explaining everything in detail and by just being warm and friendly. Even the placement of my IV for the contrast, as well as being given the contrast itself was super comfortable. They were quick and the MRI didn't take anywhere near as long as what I had thought it would. Definitely coming back to this location when/if I need future imaging done!

I am just a little claustrophobic and explained to Krishna that I needed to meditate a few moments to calm myself, before they slid me in. Krishna and Elyse were so patient and kind...giving me an eye mask and ear plugs...with both of them at my sides, it took me about a minute and I was set to go. Toni was fantastic. When I gave her the script and it was realized that it was incorrect, she helped me to work things out. I am a schoolteacher and am at the end of the school year, so it was difficult to take the day off. I was concerned I would not be able to have the procedure today, but Toni was able to work it out so that I could have the script rewritten and keep my place for today's appointment. I was an emergency "add on" on my date of service. Even though I was added on to the schedule, I was still seen in a timely fashion. Five stars are not enough for Jamie. His caring, helpful demeanor and disposition made a difficult exam possible for me. I would have left without a completed MRI but for Jamie. If Antoinnette goes by Toni, she was phenomenal. There was a problem with my prescription. I had spoken to two schedulers earlier that day. All they did was tell me my prescription was wrong and they couldn’t schedule an appointment, put me on hold & never came back. I was extremely frustrated and annoyed when I got Toni. In short, she did her job. She had me send a copy of my prescription over the phone. She contacted someone else in the organization to find an answer to my needs. She found out exactly how my prescription needed to be written and coded. Then she made my appointment. That call when I got her was going to be my last attempt. Additionally, she was pleasant throughout. I can’t say enough.

I needed several tests performed. AMI was able to accommodate having all three tests in a single visit. Both the ultrasonographer, John, as well as Eric, the x-ray technician, were outstanding. At first I wasn’t sure how they were going to get me through this MRI since I couldn’t walk on my legs. Due to a surgery on my left foot and a recent injury to my right knee, both my of my legs are non weight bearing and I had to arrive in a wheelchair. Nevertheless, the staff at AMI all pitched in and helped me use a special MRI wheelchair to get on and off the MRI. The whole process was faster than I expected.

John was so pleasant, professional and, compassionate. I was in for a follow up appointment after a miscarriage. John made sure my husband was able to be with me during the exam which was a relief. John was articulate in explaining what he was looking for and what he saw. Despite the somber mood, John offered words of encouragement and expedited my records to provide to my physician. His warm and genuine bedside manner made this nerve-racking and sad experience bearable. His kindness and professionalism was very much appreciated.

I had a great experience at AMI of Egg Harbor Township. I went in today for an MRI of my neck. The receptionist was warm and friendly. The facility is beautiful. But the MRI team was fantastic. Chris was exceptional. He was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience stress free and as relaxing as an MRI could be. He told me what to expect the entire time- how long each section would take, when the table would move, and when I was more than half way done. Highly recommend AMI!!

My experience was excellent, the scheduling staff were very nice and they gave the appointment at the time and day I really needed( I cancelled my appointment at Atlanticare because it was at the end of the month and I needed a sooner appointment, they didn’t make the effort to help me I am very happy I didn’t go there)... The receptionists (Julia and African American girl, that I don’t remember her name, I am sorry)were very nice, friendly and very helpful, the CTScan Tech (Deedee) was absolutely adorable, she made my experience there even better, she treated me like we were best friends, she explained me all the procedure and made feel very comfortable. This was our first time at the EHT location and I was very impressed. It was a clean and beautiful facility. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and nice. I needed evening hours for a diagnostic procedures. They fit me in 3 hours prior to the appointment time. I scheduled it after I was done work. Elizabeth was great. My doctor needed me to have two scans because of te liklihood of ovarian cancer. Elizabeth was able to get me an appoinment for the next day at a facility that was 45 minutes away. I would have driven 45 hours just so I wouldn't have had to go through the weekend waiting for the tests and the results. She got me in on a Friday morning and I am very grateful to her.

Had a very good experience today. The lady at the front desk (Heidi?) was helpful in getting me taken care of by the testing staff, and especially helpful getting copies of my tests taken today so that I did not need to return to the facility later to get them (one less person coming into the building at times like this are good I believe). My CT technician Dee Dee was awesome. Professional, engaging, funny, and thorough. Dee Dee's personality made the whole procedure, which can be stressing, very manageable and a pleasant experience.

I am claustrophobic and had a very bad experience my last MRI at a different place so I was very nervous today. It looked as though I may not have been able to do my breast MRI because the machine was causing me extreme rib pain and caused pressure where I could not breathe. No waiting. I would really encourage women who have not had their mammogram done because of the pain - do not worry. The 3D technology does not require the compression that used to be necessary. I had an MRI performed today...something that most would shudder at having done because of the claustrophobic effect of the machine. Not only was the machine people friendly but the two technicians were fantastic! I wish I knew their names as I would give them an award for making me feel at home and relaxed. I was treated with respect as soon as I entered the door to the end of the procedure. Everyone was very friendly and professional...a combination hard to beat! Unfortunately I have had to get quite a few imagaing tests in my 27 years of life and I am so pleased by the service I received today. This was my first that the new EHT location and from the moment I walked in the door the staff was smiling and so nice. This brand new facility is as beautiful as it is practical. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is very handicap accessible with a drop-off circle, large hospital-like automatic doors, and spacious waiting areas. If it’s possible to look forward to medical testing, this place would be where you did.
