As the new school year approaches, countless children in New Jersey face the daunting reality of starting their first day without essential school supplies. To address this critical need, the AMI Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its 14th Annual "Tools For School" supply drive, running until August 18th.
Right within our own communities, many children lack the basic necessities like pencils and paper, hindering their ability to thrive academically. We extend a warm invitation to the community to join us in making a difference by donating much-needed school supplies, granting these children an equal opportunity for a quality education.
The list of requested school supplies includes pencils, erasers, spiral notebooks, pocket folders, crayons, colored markers, colored pencils, glue sticks, highlighters, and soft pencil cases. You can find many of these supplies at significant discounts at nearby large retailers.
Donations can be dropped off at the AMI Corporate Office, conveniently located at the Bayport One Office Building, 8025 Black Horse Pike, Suite 300, West Atlantic City, NJ 08232 or any AMI office location.
As part of our long-standing commitment, the AMI Foundation will also provide book bags to accompany the school supply donations. Once the drive concludes, these collected supplies and book bags will be delivered to elementary schools throughout the area in late August. To date, we have proudly donated over 3,600 book bags to local school children in need.
