Drive benefits Community FoodBank of NJ Southern Branch and the Food Bank
of Monmouth & Ocean County.
Galloway, NJ –The Atlantic Medical Imaging (AMI) Foundation’s
7th Annual Food Drive to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey
Southern Branch and the Food Bank of Monmouth & Ocean County resulted
in more than 1,000 pounds of food being donated. Donations of canned and
other non-perishable food items by community members and AMI staff members
took place at all AMI offices in Atlantic, Cape May, Monmouth, and Ocean
counties in November.
“This is another way for us to give something back to the communities
we serve,” said Dr. Robert M. Glassberg, President/CEO of AMI and
President of the AMI Foundation. “The programs, services and partnerships
undertaken by the Foundation are designed to enhance the quality of life
and improve the health status of community residents, and we believe this
Food Drive is consistent with that mission and vision.”
The AMI Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated
to enhancing the level of healthcare for community residents by collaborating
with local community groups to support programs that address critical
health needs. Since its inception in 2003, the Foundation has provided
approximately $1 million to various charitable organizations throughout
South Jersey and central New Jersey.
