Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. In fact, it claims more lives that breast, colon and prostate cancer combined. November is National Lung Cancer Awareness Month and Atlantic Medical Imaging invites you to join us in the fight against this dreaded disease.
Today, 85 percent of patients diagnosed with lung cancer in the United States will die from it within five years. Atlantic Medical Imaging reminds those at risk that early detection can make all the difference. Diagnosis at early stages of cancer can lead to more treatment options, less invasive surgery, and a higher survival rate.
AMI is currently offering free, non-invasive lung screenings for those at high risk for the disease. The exam will be free of charge for patients with no insurance or for those whose insurance denied approval for the exam.
For more information on low dose CT lung screening, and to see if you are eligible for a free lung screening, contact AMI at (609) 204-9279.
