AMI Helped Raise Nearly $100,000 in Support of Gilda's Club of South Jersey

The first-ever 2016 Dragon Boat Race to benefit Gilda's Club of South Jersey was this past Saturday, July 9th, and had 36 teams who, combined, raised almost $100,000 for the organization. AMI was proud to be part of the experience. Our team was made up of an energetic mix of radiologists, employees, and family members/friends. Believe it or not, most of our team members had never even stepped foot into a boat, let alone paddled a boat in a competition before! But they made the best of it and really enjoyed putting together the theme—AMI Luau—which included grass skirts and AMI's signature color of blue leis.

Through the AMI Foundation, Atlantic Medical Imaging has supported Gilda's Club of South Jersey for many years, specifically through the Nooglieland Program which aims to support children who are cancer survivors.
